Abstract

ABSTRACT EVALUATION OF MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT OF FACILITIES AND INFRASTRUCTURES SUPPORTING THE LEARNING PROCESS AT RIAU ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY BY: MANSUR Riau Islamic University has carried out maintenance of facilities and infrastructure to support the process of teaching and learning activities, supported by the status of a Campus that has been accredited "B" and is one of the largest private campuses in Riau Province, as well as adequate campus conditions. researchers to conduct research at the Islamic University of Riau. The purpose of this study was to find out how the management activities for the maintenance of facilities and infrastructure supporting the learning process at the Islamic University of Riau. The type of research used is descriptive. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation, and interview methods and data sources using primary and secondary data sources. Then the data obtained were analyzed with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research on the management of the maintenance of facilities and infrastructure that support the learning process at the Islamic University of Riau are, maintenance planning is carried out globally at the beginning of each new academic year, submitting a plan based on complaints from lecturers and students to the vice dean for facilities and infrastructure which is then submitted to the rector of the Islamic University of Riau lastly distributed by the agency for the development and maintenance of assets of the Islamic University of Riau, in organizing all campus personnel to participate in maintenance which is chaired directly by the vice dean for facilities and infrastructure in technical implementation and is accounted for by the head of the head of the agency for the development and maintenance of assets of the Islamic University of Riau as a whole. , the implementation of maintenance is carried out routinely for minor and periodic repairs, both minor repairs and heavy repairs, and in supervision activities it is only carried out by direct inspection by the waka of facilities and infrastructure. na without any detailed written report except at the year-end meeting which is recorded by the minutes of all programs being evaluated. Then from the overall results it is assessed that maintenance management at the Islamic University of Riau has not been effective and efficient.
