Abstract

This study aims to develop educational comics media for fractional materials for fourth grade elementary school students to support the learning process. This study uses a Four-D development model consisting of define, design, development, and dessimination. However, in this study, researchers only took three stages. The data collection instruments used were interview sheets and validation sheets. Validation sheets will be given to material validators, design validators and language validators to assess the attractiveness and content of educational comics. The types of data obtained are qualitative data in the form of suggestions and criticisms from 6 validators and quantitative data in the form of numbers (numbers) from 6 validators. This study resulted in educational comics media that can be used for elementary schools as media that have met very valid criteria, validation average score 1: 79% material, 73% language and 85% design. Validation average score 2: 90% material, 95% language and 98% design. Validation was carried out 2 times because it had obtained a very valid value with a feasibility percentage of 94% after the second validation was carried out so that educational comics were suitable for use in the learning process.
