Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted with the aim of knowing whether there is an influence of the learning environment on students' interest in economics in the social studies class at SMAS Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru. This research was conducted on March 3, 2021. The population in this study were all 113 social studies students. The sampling technique was proportional random sampling, that is, each class was taken randomly with a total of 88 people. Data collection techniques in this study were questionnaires and documentation. Questionnaires are used to reveal data about the learning environment and student interests. . This researcher concludes that there is a partially significant effect of the learning environment on student learning outcomes in economics class X SMA Negeri Pekanbaru City with a P Value of wald test (sig) 0.018 <0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. While in the author's research the Effect of the Learning Environment on Students' Interest in Economics Subjects for Social Studies class at Tri Bhakti Private High School Pekanbaru 2019/2020
