Abstract

Promotion was a communication from seller that inform, create, and remember prospective buyers about a product to influence their opinion or getting a respond about the product. The purpose in this research examined to know the influence of sharia banking promotion on society interest in choosing sharia bank. The subject in this research was society at Bukit Raya Sub-district Pekanbaru City in 383 persons. The data used in this research referred to primer and secondary data. Sampling technique used morgan formula. Meanwhile, data collection technique used questionnaire, observation and documentation. In analyzing data, it used descriptive quantitative method. This analyzing data also used simple linear regression where the computation used SPSS version 25. This research finding was known that sharia bank promotion on society interest in choosing sharia bank was seen by correlation coefficient test had high or strong relationship. Meanwhile, T (partial) test result explained there was any significant influence between sharia bank promotions on society interest in choosing sharia bank at Bukit Raya Sub-district Pekanbaru City. It known from T counted 29.522 > T table 1.96 with significant score 0.000 < 0.05. The result of determination coefficient test was in 69.6%. Generally, it could be summarized that the influence of sharia bank promotion on society interest in choosing sharia bank at Bukit Raya Sub-district Pekanbaru City classified into high or strong category
