Abstract

The availability of facilities in Kundur Barat District is a problem where the population continues to grow in Kundur Barat District so that an assessment of the availability and needs of settlement facilities is carried out to find out how much the availability and needs of settlement facilities in Kundur Barat District are The research method used is a quantitative method to determine the availability of social facilities based on SNI 03-1733-2004 and a descriptive method to identify the need for social facilities based on the results of population projections and also SNI 03-1733-2004. The results of the research process show the level of need for each type of settlement facility based on the results of the needs of SNI 03-1733-2004 The results of the study indicate availability where for the availability of almost all Kelurahan/Village already have residential facilities starting from government facilities and public services, educational facilities, health facilities, worship facilities, trading facilities, cultural and recreational facilities and open spaces, parks and sports fields, for needs Residential facilities in Kundur Barat District in 2021 - 2025 still have needs including Police Stations, Kindergartens, Elementary Schools, High Schools, Doctor/Midwife Practices, Pharmacies and Parks and also the fulfillment of the number, land area and building area there are still residential facilities that have not meet SNI 03-1733-2004 namely Government Facilities and Public Services, Education Facilities, Health Facilities, Trade Facilities and Culture and Recreation Facilities.
