Abstract

Developments technologies in the era now affects very large for each person. Technologies are evolying rapidly one of them is a smartphone. Smartphone includes several functions that vary every person to do the interaction both in social media, phone, play games, listen to music, streaming youtube, reservation ticktes for air and hotel, to do shopping online, smartphone can be owned from various circle, but forms are unique and also practical so that enthusiasts use of smartphone continues to rise. With its use which continues rise and every man must have used a smartphone to communicate so that when in the one group or are being discussed there are other people who are around them. Play smartphone when the street is also a lack of supervision and security of the self it self sometimes less noticed by users that own that lead to someone who did not interest to commit a crime would but for the opportunity then comes the crimes of mugging while on the road. The purpose of this study was to find out why phubbing behavior affect users who can become victims of mugging. Research is using the methods of visual criminology is a method using a device visual such a pictures and doing interviews directly to the speakers that relevant. Reffering to the theory that is used by the authors, namely lifestly exposure theory and routine activity theory to see how people become target victims of crime and gives an oopurtunity to offenders to commit acts of crime.
