Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of the use of Instagram as a medium of information on the attractions of the Okura Dream Park in Pekanbaru.This study uses qualitative research because this method expresses certain social situations by describing the reality correctly formed by words based on relevant data collection techniques obtained from natural situations.Thus qualitative research is not only an attempt to describe the data but also the description of the results of the collection of data required qualitatively namely in-depth interviews, observation, participation, study documents, and by triagulating data.The selection of informants using purposive techniques, namely the taking or selection of informants using certain considerations in accordance with the specific characteristics of the researcher.The ease of accessing @tamanbungaimpianokura account on Instagram is also a choice for followers to access information.The message conveyed by @tamanbungaimpianokura account through his interesting posts starting from photos and captions is an attraction for his followers.
