Abstract
The educational research in this thesis aims to obtain objective information about the perceptions of FKIP UIR students on the Implementation of the Field Experience Program (PPL) for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. This research was conducted online on FKIP UIR students from December to February 2021. This research is a descriptive study with a sample of 81 students. A questionnaire data collection tool with 5 indicators. The results of the study on the perception of FKIP UIR students on the implementation of the field experience program (PPL) for the 2020/2021 Academic Year of the five indicators were the PPL administration indicator 97% answered that there was administration carried out by the faculty and 3% answered that there was no administration carried out by the faculty . In the PPL guidance indicator, 92.8% answered that there was PPL mentoring by the faculty before students went to the field and 7.2% answered that there was no PPL mentoring by the faculty before going to the field. On the indicator of the suitability of theory in the field, 96.3% answered that the courses studied on campus were useful in the field and 3.7% answered that the courses studied on campus were not useful in the field. In the teaching practice indicators, 91% answered that there was preparation in teaching practice by FKIP UIR students and 9% answered that there was no preparation made by FKIP UIR students. In the PPL assessment indicators, 96.3% answered that there was a final PPL assessment and 3.7% answered that they were not satisfied with the results of the PPL final assessment. From the results of the Perception research, FKIP UIR students have a very good perception of the implementation of PPL for the 2020/2021 Academic Year.
