Abstract

study aims to determine the effect of role conflict and job authority on employee job satisfaction at PT. Jamichi Asih Jaya. The sample in this study amounted to 37 employees in the field using saturated sampling method or census, the data were processed using IBM SPSS 23.0 as a research analysis tool. This study uses descriptive methods and multiple linear regression analysis, namely by analyzing the data that has been collected and then tabulated and linked to the theoretical basis in the literature review. based on the results of hypothesis testing simultaneously (together) the conflict of roles and job authority has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction, while partially the variables of role conflict and job authority also have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. The magnitude of the contribution given by the role conflict and job authority variables to employee job satisfaction is indicated by the coefficient of determination R square (R2) of 0.482 or 48.2% while 51.8% is influenced by other factors that are not included in the research model.
