Abstract

THE EFFECT OF INNOVATION ON PROCESSED PINEAPPLE PRODUCTS ON SUSTAINABLE COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE (STUDY ON TUNAS MAKMUR FARMER GROUP IN KAMPUNG JAWA VILLAGE, BENGKALIS REGENCY) ABSTRAC Halimatussa’diah 177210262 The research conducted by the author aims to see the effect of pineapple processed product innovation on sustainable competitive advantage (study on the Tunas prosperous farmer group cooperative in the village of Java, Bengkalis Regency). This study also aims to determine the dimensions of product innovation that have the most influence on sustainable competitive advantage, while the innovation indicators used in this study are Product Features, Product Design or Design and Product Quality, as well as indicators of sustainable competitive advantage used by researchers, namely valuable, unique or rare, not easy to imitate and not easy to replace. Sampling using saturated sampling method or census. The data in this study were obtained through questionnaires, and the data analysis used was simple regression analysis with the spss v.22 application. Analysis that uses several statistical tests, the results of the normality test of the data using the Kolmogorov Smirnov method are 0.200, which means that the test results of the data are greater than the 0.05 significant level so that the normality test in this study is normally distributed. The relationship between product innovation and sustainable competitive advantage is 0.471, it can be interpreted that there is a relationship between product innovation and sustainable competitive advantage, the level of relationship between product innovation and sustainable competitive advantage is 0.471, which means the level of relationship between variables is moderate. The coefficient of determination or R Square (R^2) is 0.222 or 22.2%. The product innovation variable affects the sustainable competitive advantage of the Tunas prosperous farmer group cooperative in the village of Java, Bengkalis Regency by 22.2% while the remaining 77.8% is influenced by other variables.
