Abstract

This research was motivated by lack of students’ awareness happened in class IX junior high school YLPI Perhentian Marpoyan, Pekanbaru in memorizing Al- Qur’an, where students’ achievement in memorizing Al-Qur’an could not achieve based on schedule. The target to pass in memorizing was 2 Juz, and 40% students were not achieving the target. It was known by some symptoms: some of students could not care enough in memorizing Al-Qur’an. Some of them were not mastering Tahfidz Al-Qur’an lesson. Some of them were not memorize their previous memorizing. The purpose in this research examined to know the influence of using wahdah method on memorizing Al-Qur’an mastery of class IX students at junior high school YLPI Perhentian Marpoyan, Pekanbaru. This research used quantitative with correlational approach. The population involved 49 students, and they were as sample in this research because they were less than 100 students. Data collection technique used questionnaire and documentation. Data analysis technique used normality test and hypothesis test and it was computed by SPSS version 22 application. This research finding explained that hypothesis was accepted with significant score 0.006, and it showed that there was any influence of using wahdah method on memorizing Al-Qur’an mastery of class IX students at junior high school YLPI Perhentioan Marpoyan, Pekanbaru. The hypothesis could be accepted where significant score < 0.05. in knowing the influence score could be seen from model summary table. The score was 0.305 or 30.5% meanwhile 69.5% influenced by others factors, and it was classified into low, because it was classified into range 0.20 – 0.399. when the use of wahdah method was improved, it could give mastery influence in memorizing Al-Qur’an in 0.550 or 55%. It was in strong enough category, it was in range 0.40 – 0.559 stated in correlation coefficient interpretation table. When students needed to improve their memorizing Al-Qur’an, wardah method should be improved either.
