Abstract
One of the familiar organizations at the village level is the Family Welfare Movement or commonly known in Indonesian abbreviation as PKK (Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga). According to the Ministry of Home Affairs regulation No. 5 of 2007, the PKK organization is one of the forums for realizing family welfare. The empowerment of women through PKK organization is important in order to create productive resources or foster an entrepreneurial spirit so that they can become economically independent and do not need to depend on their husbands and children. The entrepreneurial activities of the PKK in Bangun Jaya Village is by creating PKK healthy stalls that sell products produced by the community with a wage system. The problem formulation of the study is how the implementation of Ijarah contract of PKK healthy stalls and how to empower the community’s welfare through PKK healthy stalls in Bangun Jaya Village, Tambusai Utara District, Rokan Hulu Regency. The data sources of the study are from primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques of the study are observation, interviews, and documentation. There are four informants of the study. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of Ijarah contract of the PKK healthy stalls fulfills the pillars and requirements. Then these activities provenly help the community to earn income to meet the needs of their families. This program has been becoming a facilitator for people who have the potential to get additional income. However, these activities still need support from the local government to develop.
