Abstract

The company PT. Sharia Pegadaian was a financial institution non-bank that had purpose to provide funding facility suitable with sharia law. The facility that had given by company to society had purpose to welfare society life. In order to make this facility run well, PT Sharia Pegadaian needed to create a method that used to increase employee work ethic. Becauseemployeeworkethicwasveryinfluenceoncompanyoperational. A good employee work ethic would give good impact to company. Vice versa, bad employee work ethic would give bad impact to company. This researchwasfieldresearchthatwasdoneatPT.PegadaianShariabranch Subrantas Pekanbaru. Research formulation questioned about how employee work ethic at PT. Pegadaian Sharia branch Subrantas Pekanbaru. In finding information and relevant data from data sources, researcher used observation, interview and documentation method. The data result then analyzed by using descriptive-qualitative method. Researcher interviewed leader and employee PT. Pegadaian Sharia. The conclusion from this research explained that the method was used by campany PT. Pegadaian Sharia Branch to increase employee work ethic hadbeenrunwellandsuccess,butwiththemethodwasnotsuitablewith Islamic perspective. The method was still follow PT. Pegadaian conventionaldetermination.
