Abstract
When posting something on Instagram or on Instagram Stories something positive will also have a positive impact on others, one of which is by using the Instagram Stories feature as a media for youth mental health campaigns, especially adolescent who are depressed. Mental health campaigns through Instagram social media, especially the Instagram Stories feature in the form of islamic quotes, including communication strategies in disseminating information to influence individuals or communities by prioritizing Islamic values. The purpose of this study was to see the extent of the influence of Instagram Stories “Quotes Islami” as a media for youth mental health campaigns in Riau Province. This research method uses quantitative methods, with data collection techniques using questionnaires. The number of samples in this study was 100 people who were determined using the Slovin formula from a total of 1,705,989 adolescents in Riau Province. The results of the study showed the value of R square (R2) of 0.457, which means that there is an influence of Instagram Stories "Islamic Quotes” as a media for adolescent mental health campaigns in Riau Province by 45.7% while the remaining 54.3% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Based on these results, it can also be seen that posting Islamic quotes on Instagram stories has a positive impact on adolescents who are depressed.
