Abstract
The research aims to know the result of validity and practicality of the learning media development product by construct 2 on three-dimensional shapes material. The type of Research and Development refers to ADDIE model which includes five stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate. The data collection instruments use a validity sheet and the quitionnair of student responses and teacher response with data collection technique is likert scale. The object of research is a learning media by construct 2 on three-dimensional shapes material of grades VIII. The test subjects are 25 students of grades VIII SMP Babussalam Pekanbaru. The learning media product that developed by construct 2 is validated by three validators consist of two Lecturers of Mathematics Department and one mathematics teacher of SMP Babussalam Pekanbaru. Validation data and practicality data are analyzed by determine the avarage of every assessment. The result of validition data analysis by the three validators show an avarage of 91,86% with “very valid” criteria. The assessment of the quitionnair of teacher response on the use of learning media get a value of 100% with practicality criteria is “very practical”, and an avarage of the quitionnair of student responses get a value of 84,27% with “very practical” criteria. Thus, it can be conclude that the learning media by construct 2 on three-dimensional shapes material has been tested for its validity and practicality.
