Abstract

In the Indonesian language learning, language skills at the high school level covers four aspects of skill. The most important aspect one of them is the skill of writing. Student learning outcomes in a text written editorial material is still problematic, most students said it was difficult to produce editorial text unaccustomed logically arrange and meet the terms of editorial text entry. This is because teachers use learning model konvensinal that the lecture method that causes the student learning outcomes to be low. The problem in this study is whether there is the influence of the model project based learning to the learning outcomes on the material grade students write editorial text XII IPS 3 SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to describe, analyze and conclude on project based learning models influence on learning outcomes at editorial text writing material IPS 3 XII grade students in SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. The methodology used is the method of correlation, which were analyzed using regression analysis. Type of field research with a quantitative approach.Data collection techniques such as observation, questionnaires engineering and test engineering. Samples were students of class XII IPS 3 amounting to 22 students. It can be concluded that (1) there is the influence of the model project based learning on student learning outcomes in a text written editorial material (2) the influence of the model project based learning to the learning outcomes on student editorial text writing material amounted to 0.695 or 69.5% (3) predicted if learning outcomes learning model project based be raised it can affect the assessment study results on any material write the text editorial 91%.
