Abstract
ABSTRACT Zeatin and IAA Test Against Cotton Lime (Citrus Aurantifolia.L) Plants In Vitro. This has been carried out at the biotechnology laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution Km 11 no. 113, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. This research was carried out, from August 2019 to January 2020. The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction and main effect of Zeatin and IAA on the growth of Lime Lime Cotton (Citrus Aurantifolia.L) In Vitro. The design used in this study was a 3 x 4 factorial completely randomized design, the first factor was Zeatin with 3 treatment levels, namely: 0 ppm, 0.1 ppm, and 1 ppm while the second factor was IAA, namely: 0, 0.1, 1 and 10 ppm so that 12 treatment combinations were obtained, with 3 replications, so there were 36 experimental units. Each unit consists of 1 bottle, in 1 bottle there are 2 plants that are sampled so that the total plants in this study are 72 plants. Observation parameters were the percentage of explant life, age of shoot emergence, age of root emergence, highest shoot height, number of shoots, number of leaves. Observational data were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ further test at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of Zeatin and IAA had an effect on age of shoot emergence, age of root emergence, highest shoot height, number of shoots with the best treatment being Zeatin 1 ppm and IAA 10 ppm (Z1I1) . The main effect of Zeatin on all observation parameters with the best treatment being 0.1 ppm (Z1) The main effect of IAA giving effect on all observation parameters, namely 0.1 ppm (I1).
