Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interaction and main Hydrilla verticillata and Urea on Curly Red Chili Plants. This research has been carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution Km 11 No. 113, Marpoyan Stop, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. This research was conducted for 5 months starting from January to May 2021. The design used in this study was a completely randomized factorial design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was Hydrilla verticillata consisting of 4 levels, namely 0.1,2, and 3 kg/plot and the second factor was Urea consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 20, 40 and 60 g/plot, each treatment consisted of 3 repetitions so that the obtained 48 experimental units. In the experimental unit there were 8 plants and 6 plants were used as observation samples taken randomly so that 384 plants were obtained. If the calculated F is greater than the F table, then the further test of the honest real difference (BNJ) is continued at the 5% level. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it is concluded as follows that the interaction between the administration of Hydrilla verticillata and Urea was significant on the relative growth rate of ages 28-14 and 56-42, net assimilation rate, flowering age, harvest age, fruit number, fruit weight and fruit length. where the best treatment was Hydrilla verticillata 3 kg/plot and Urea 60 g/plot. The main effect of Hydrilla verticillata was significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment was Hydrilla verticillata 3 kg/plot. The main effect of real Urea on all observation parameters. Best treatment Urea 60 g/plot.
