Abstract

ABSTRACT The Effect of Organic NPK Fertilizer and Top G2 Liquid Organic Fertilizer on the Growth and Production of Wren Eggplant (Solanum Melongena L.) This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University. interaction and main effect of organic NPK fertilizer and Top G2 liquid organic fertilizer on eggplant plant. This study used a completely randomized design consisting of 2 factors, the first factor was Organic NPK Fertilizer which consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 5,4, 10.8, and 16.2 g/plant. The second factor is liquid organic fertilizer TOP G2 consisting of 4 levels of treatment, namely 0, 2, 4 and 6 ml/liter of water. The parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit planted, weight of planted fruit and number of remaining fruit. Furthermore, the results of the observations of each treatment were statistically analyzed and continued with the further test of Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction effect of Organic NPK Fertilizer and TOP G2 Liquid Organic Fertilizer was significant on the parameters of plant fruit weight with the best treatment being organic NPK fertilizer at a dose of 16.2 g/plant and TOP G2 liquid fertilizer at a dose of 6 ml/liter of water. The main effect of organic NPK fertilizer is on the parameters of plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit, weight of planted fruit and number of remaining fruit. The best treatment was organic NPK fertilizer 16.2 g/plant. The main effect of liquid organic fertilizer TOP G2 has an effect on all observed parameters. The best treatment was liquid organic fertilizer TOP G2 6 ml/liter of water.
