Abstract
ABSTRACT The purpose of the study was to determine the main interaction and influence of Kascing Fertilizer and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 on the growth and production of Kailan (Brassica oleracea) Plants. guidance of Mr. Drs. Maizar, MP. This research was carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution KM 11 No. 113 Perhentian Marpoyan, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru. April to June 2021.). This experiment used a Factorial Completely Randomized Design, which consisted of 2 factors, the first factor being Kascing fertilizer (K) with 4 levels of treatment and the second factor being the provision of NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 (N) with 4 levels. treatment so that 16 treatment combinations were obtained. Each treatment consisted of 3 replications so that 48 experimental units were obtained. Each experimental unit consisted of 4 plants and 2 plants were sampled, so that the total number of plants was 192 plants. dry weight of plants with the best treatment K3N3 (Fertilizer Kascing 75 g/polybag and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 0.75 g/polybag). The main effect of the dose of Kascing Fertilizer was significant on all parameters observed, where the best treatment was K3 (75 g/polybag) while the main effect of NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 was significant for all parameters with the best treatment at N3 (0.75 g/polybag).
