Abstract
The Website is one of the communication media in the dissemination of interactive information compared to other conventional media. The Wbsite connected to the internet where users can write, read or access all the information they have or information they want to know. As the time grows, the website is continuously repaired and is the first thing that can be seen from an institution, either a government, private or educational institution. The Website has important functions in assisting the operation of each agency. The purpose of research is to know the effectivity of Website use www.m2mpekanbaru.sch.id against the delivery of information to parents of MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru. This research looks at the effectiveness of school websites using quantitative methods. Quantitative methods can be interpreted as a research method based on the philosophy of positivism, used to research on specifis populations or samples, data collection using research instruments, quantitative data analysis/statistics, with the aim of describing and testing a predetermined hypothesis. The data collection techniques used in this research is by using a poll or questionnaire. Based on the results of research and discussion on the effectiveness of the use of website for the delivery of information to parents then the conclusion that the delivery of information to parents by using the website is very effective. This because more and more parents are following the age to know the education information about the child. In addition to obtaining information through the website, it will accelerate and facilitate parents in finding information about Madrasah.
