Abstract

ABSTRACT PRINCIPAL EFFORT IN INCREASING TEACHERS’ PERFORMANCE AT MA AL-HIDAYAH SINGINGI HILIR SUBDISTRCT KUANTAN SINGINGI DISTRICT By: Hidayanti Rizky NPM 152410191 This research was motivated by the lack of teachers’ discipline, it was signed by the symptoms such as some of teachers came late to school, some of teacher did not on time to start the class based on their schedule, some of them were lazy with the reason that they could not enter the class because of mild pain. The formulation in this research questioned about the effort of principal in increasing teachers’ discipline at MA Al-Hidayah Singingi Hilir Subdistrict Kuantan Singingi District. The purpose in this research examined to know the effort of principal in increasing teachers’ discipline at MA Al-Hidayah Singingi Hilir Subdistrict Kuantan Singingi District. The main informant in this research involved principal and 3 lesson teachers as supporting informant at MA Al-Hidayah Singingi Hilir Subdistrict Kuantan Singingi District. The instrument in this research was the researcher himself. Data collection technique used interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis technique used qualitative data analysis where; data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. The research findings about the effort of principal in increasing teachers’ discipline at MA Al-Hidayah Singingi Hilir Subdistrict Kuantan Singingi District such as; creating target and facilities that was needed by teachers, understanding teachers’ condition and guiding teachers to support them in finishing their job on time, giving responsibility toward teachers’ teaching and learning administration and they must had basic competency as teachers, giving trust and responsibility in doing their job, striving and directing teachers to have knowledge about education, creating a progress about teaching planning in one year and facilitate teachers to follow trainings, giving support with spirit and salutation to teachers in carried out their duties. In school.
