Abstract

The more sophisticated the development of the times, the more deviant adolescent habits we find. Many factors cause students to take aggressive actions, one of which is the level of student religiosity and understanding of religious education that students get from their families, namely parents, the home environment, and participate in the scope of the school. Thi s research aims to the relationship between reli giosity with agressive behavior of the students of ylpi senior high school marpoyan pekanbaru. The population of this study was 252 students from SMA YLPI Marpoyan Pekanbaru , using simple random s ampling technique. Data collection uses a scale of two, namely the scal e of religiosity and scale of aggressiveness. After the data is collected, the data is processed using Pearson analysis. This study shows a negative and significant relationship between religiosity to the relationship of aggressiveness with r = -0.303 and p = 0.000. Thus, the higher the religiosity, the lower the aggressive challenges, and conversely the lower the religiosity, the higher the aggressiveness challenges. Meanwhile, the contribution given to aggressiveness was 34.9% while the remaining 65.1 % wa s approved by other factors outside this study.
