Abstract
This research is about the concept of self-esteem rider female in Pekanbaru City which is based on the phenomenon of employment is in demand by some women.The concept of a person's self is not separated from technological influences and social influence. Essentially forming a person's self-concept is formed through the learning process since the period of growth to adulthood, the concept of self is formed through the process of internalization and organization and past experiences. The development of technology in today has made many companies open the job opportunities one of them is GO-JEK. In Gojek itself there is no differentiator between men and women in work, all of which can work as Gojek riders as long as they already have a valid condition. The purpose of this study is to know how the concept of women riders Gojek. The method used is a qualitative descriptive study. The technique of data collection in this study was with in-depth interviews with informers. The selection of informant in this study uses purposive sampling technique. The results of the research obtained that the female rider Gojek in Pekanbaru city has a positive self concept and has a character that is confident, open, and has an extroverted personality type so it is able to open up and hang out with many People and their environment. The concept of positive self is characterized by a number of things such as being able to overcome problems, feeling equal to others, receiving shameless praise, realizing everyone has a variety of feelings and able to improve.
