Abstract

School well-being is a school condition that allows an individual to satisfy his basic needs which include having (school conditions), loving (social relations), being (self-fulfillment) and health (health status). The purpose of this study is to determine the description of school well-being on students of Psychology Faculty of Islamic University of Riau on odd semester academic year of 2019/2020. This study involves 289 students who are selected by using the stratified proportional random sampling technique. The measuring instrument used is the school wellbeing scale published by Konu and Rimpela (2002). The result of this study indicates that the research subjects show school well-being is in the medium category. When it viewed from aspects of school well-being, the highest aspect is found on the aspect of having (school conditions) with the mean value is 52.33, while the lowest aspect is found in the health aspect (health status) with the mean value is 6.80. In terms of gender there are no differences between male and female students. Based on the semester level, the highest is found on the first semester with the mean value is 136.89.
