Abstract

This study with the title "The Effect of Giving Organic and Gandasil-D NPK on Growth and Yield of Celery (Apium graveolens L.)". This research was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan kaharuddin Nasution KM 11, No. 113, Perhentian Marpoyan, Kelurahan Air Dingin, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. This research was conducted for four months from July to October 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the interaction and main effects of NPK Organic and Gandasil D fertilizers on the growth and yield of celery plants. This research uses a Factorial Complete Randomized Design consisting of 2 factors, the first factor is NPK Organic fertilizer consisting of 4 levels, namely Organic NPK, Organic NPK 3 gr / plant, Organic NPK 6 gr / plant, Organic NPK 9 gr / plant and Gandasil D fertilizer consisting of 4 levels, namely without Gandasil D, Gandasil D 2 g / l water, Gandasil D 4 g / l water, Gandasil D 6 g / l water. Thus obtained 16 treatment combinations. Each treatment combination was repeated 3 times for a total of 48 experimental units. Each repetition consisted of 6 plants and 2 plants were used as samples, so that the total number of plants was 288 plants. Based on the results of research that has been conducted concluded that: The interaction of Organic NPK and Gandasil D significantly on the number of clumps, clumps of stalks and root volume. The highest treatment dosage of Organic NPK fertilizer is 9 g / plant and dandruff D 4 g / l water. The main effect of the NPK Organic fertilizer dose was evident on all observational parameters. The highest treatment is a dose of 9 g organic NPK fertilizer / plant. The main effect of the dose of double D-doses was evident on all observational parameters. The best treatment is a 4 g / l dose of dandasil water.
