Abstract

Effects of Cricket and Grand-K Manure Fertilizer on Growth and Production of Shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) Plants. The research has been carried out in the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharudin Nasution Km 13, Air Dingin Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. and Grand-K on the growth and production of shallots. The design used is a Factorial Complete Random Design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is cricket dirt consisting of 4 levels, 0, 1.25 2.50 3.75 kg / plot and the second factor is Grand-K Fertilizer which consists of 4 levels of treatment, 0.8, 12, 16 g / plot so there are 16 treatment combinations. Each treatment combination was repeated 3 times to obtain 48 experimental units (plots). Each experimental plot consisted of 25 plants and 5 plants were sampled. so that the total number of plants is 1200 plants. The parameters observed were plant height, harvest age, number of tubers, tuber wet weight, tuber dry weight, tuber weight loss and harvest index. Data were analyzed statistically and continued at 5% BNJ level. The results showed the interaction and main administration of cricket droppings and Grand-K influenced all parameters with the best treatment giving cricket dung 3.75 kg / plot and Grand-K 12 g / plot.
