Abstract
This research was conducted in Kuantan Singingi Regency which aims to determine the effect of government expenditure in the education and health sector on the human development index in Kuantan Singingi regency. The writer used the secondary data which was taken from quantitative numbers from 2010 to 2019, which was taken from BPK RI and BPS Kuantan Singing regency , and eviews 9 application was used to processing the data. The main data in this research used the government Expenditure in the Education and Health Sector. Based on this research, it can be seen that the government expenditure in the education sector has a positive effect of 0.0644 and insignificant effect on the human development index of Kuantan Singi Regency, and the government expenditure in the health sector has a positive effect of 0.0153 and it is significant on the human development index in Kuantan Singing Regency.
