Abstract

Programme of Study in Accounting Education Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Islamic University of Riau Email: Isminovitasari98@gmail.com, Sukarni269@gmail.com ABSTRACT This study aims to: (1) determine the effect of peers on the learning outcomes of class XII students of SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kuras in the academic year 2019/2020. (2) determine the effect of learning independence on the learning outcomes of class XII students of SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kuras in the academic year 2019/2020. (3) determine the influence of peers and students' learning independence on the learning outcomes of class XII students of SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kuras in the academic year 2019/2020. This type of research is correlational (correlation), the total population used is the entire class XII studying economics at SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kuras with a total of 194 people, the sampling technique is proportional stratified random sampling so the sample in this study amounted to 135 people. Data collection is done through observation, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, linear test, multiple regression test, t test, f test and determination test. Hypothesis testing results show that (1) peers have a positive or significant effect on learning outcomes, it appears that the t-count of 2.910 is greater than the t-table of 1.978 while sig. equal to 0.004 smaller than 0.05. (2) learning independence has a positive or significant effect on learning outcomes seen in tcount 4,734 greater than ttable 1,978 while sig. by 0,000 smaller than 0.05. (3) there is a positive or significant influence between peers and students' learning independence on learning outcomes in the economic subjects of class XII students at SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kuras, seen in f_count of 42.715 greater than ftable of 3.06. while sig. by 0,000 smaller than 0.05. From the results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination it is known that peers and students' learning independence contributed 39.3% to the learning outcomes in the economic subjects of class XII at SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kuras.
