Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the interaction effect and the main effect of POC of golden snail and superior plant hormones on the growth and yield of index eggplant. It was carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru starting from March - June 2021. This study used a design Completely randomized factorial consisting of 2 factors, namely the concentration of golden snail POC (P) with 4 levels, namely: 0, 30, 60 and 90 ml per l of water. Superior plant hormone with 4 levels, namely: 0, 3, 6 and 9 ml per l of water. Observation parameters were: plant height, flowering time, number of productive branches, age of harvest, number of fruit per plant, weight of fruit planted, average length of longest fruit, number of remaining fruit. The data were statistically analyzed and further tested for honest real difference (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction effect of golden snail POC and superior plant hormones was significant on the parameters of plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit planted, weight of fruit planted and average length of the longest fruit. The best treatment for golden snail POC was 60 ml/l water and the concentration of superior plant hormone was 6 ml/l water (P2H2). The main effect of gold snail POC concentration was significant on all observed parameters. The best treatment of gold snail POC concentration was 60ml/l water (P2). The main effect of high yielding plant hormone concentrations was significant on all observed parameters. The best treatment was the concentration of 6 ml/l water (H2).
