Abstract

Research area located in the village of Muara cattle, Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau province. Located at coordinates 0 ° 25 ' 40.85 "S-101 ° 17 ' 50.82 " E and 0 ° 26 ' 45.50 "S- 101 ° 19 ' 27.81 " E. This research is motivated by wanting to add to the literature on geochemistry with XRF and XRD methods. The purpose of this final task is to find out the spread and information of the metal deposits both in the form of general surface geological data as well as data under the surface, as the potential information of dense bitumen deposits in the area to can be utilized as energy resources. The methods used in this study are the Fluorence X-Ray method and the X-Ray Diffraction method. The research area has a landscape consisting of slightly steep structural hills, the hills of structural Ramps, low hills of denudational Ramps. Having a rock unit where the unit of battery is indicated by a thin incision, the research area can be formed metal minerals because of erosion in some places where the erosion is transporting the area of research and supported by a rising fault and resulted in the opening of gaps in the weak zone and the isolated minerals entered and changed the composition of the existing mineral in the Batulempung later at the same time the oxidation process in the research area, from XRF and XRD Data analysis results can be noted that the research area has a considerable distribution of metal minerals, which from XRF and XRD data There are metal minerals such as: Hematit, aluminium oxide, manganese, silver, and Titanium, Geothite, Grapthite, and in the area when utilized and acted upon is then it will have an economical value both in the form of iron and steel.
