Abstract

A time by time, production from a well will decrease that caused by many factors. It can caused by reservoir pressure decrease, technical failure or formation damage. In this experiment, we will concern to formation damage that caused by paraffin. Then, fluid will be difficult to flow. Using solvent as deposition control has been primary method to control paraffin in oil and gas industry in last decades. (K.M Barker M. N., 2001) and solvent treatment has been proved to maintain and improved production rate successfully. (C.W Hamberlin, 1990) X well has been indicated paraffin problem that caused well production is deacreasing. Based on SARA Analysis and CII, it has showed that X well has CII Value is 2,12. It means that X well suffered paraffin problem that caused production deacrease. Well x will be excecuted with solvent treatment. 43Bbl Solvent will needed. And it consist by organic solvent are 1707 gal, flow enhancer are 10 gal and mutual solvent are 91 gal. for inject fluid treatment, it will applied with 1.2 BPS as injection rate and 1715.2 Psi as Maximum Allowable Surface Pressure. Solvent treatment in X Well has been declared that Successful job based on well production. On January 2017, Well production is bigger than before with with oil production is 750.8 BOPD and water production is 505.6 BWPD. It shows incremental oil production with gain 594.1 BOPD and water production increase to 226.15 BWPD
