Abstract

This research was motivated by there was some negative Islamic behavior at Islamic Junior High School Darus Shofa Kandis such as bad friend influence, environment, online game, thieve, unawareness students, unrespected to lesson, did not on time in doing shalat, did not saying Salam when get in or outside classroom, unappropriated uniform, did not use tie, did not use peci, did not use stocking, truant, cheating, coming late to go to school. The research formulation questioned how Islamic teachers’ role in improving Islamic behavior at Islamic Junior High School Darus Shofa Kandis. The purpose in this research examined to know Islamic teacher’s role in improving Islamic behavior at Islamic Junior High School Darus Shofa Kandis. This research used qualitative with case study approach. Research informant consisted of two; keynote informant and supporting informant, keynote informant was Islamic teacher, and supporting informant was Islamic behavior. Data collection technique was observation, interview and documentation. Data computation and analysis technique that used in qualitative research was data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. Research finding showed that there was any conclusion that the Islamic teacher role in improving Islamic behavior at Islamic Junior High School Darus Shofa Kandis as follows; as motivator, as booster, as facilitator, as inspirator, and as manipulator
