Abstract

Halal product assurance became a very important part in daily implementation for moslem in Indonesia. The assurance meant that the structural and systematical effort in order to make food that we consume classified into halal for physics, process, and additional things. The role was dynamic aspect from status, and it meant that someone had been done the right and duty related to the position. The formulation of the research questioned about how the role of halal product assurance agency on implementation regulation no 33-year 2014 about halal product assurance. Also, the purpose in this research examined to know the role of halal product assurance agency on implementation regulation no 33 year 2014 about halal product assurance at Pekanbaru city. Theoretical framework in this research used Soejono Soekanto theory and regulation no 33 year 2014 about halal product assurance. This research used qualitative approach, the method used descriptive qualitative, the population was chief executive halal certification services division and verificatory, secretary, administrator and operator. Data collection technique used observation technique, interview and documentation. Research finding showed that the role that had been done by halal product assurance agency had been suitable with regulation no 33 year 2014 about halal product assurance.
