Abstract

The National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) is the official and only body established by the government based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia No. 8 of 2001 which has the task and function of collecting and distributing zakat, infaq, and alms at the national level. This research was conducted at the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) Pelalawan Regency. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the role of BAZNAS in developing MSMEs in Pelalawan District is. While the purpose of this study is to determine the role of BAZNAS in developing MSMEs in Pelalawan District. The population in this study was 5 people consisting of the leadership of the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS Pelalawan Regency, the head of the implementing unit, the field of empowerment, the distribution sector, mustahiq / MSME actors. The conceptual framework used in this study is the role of facilitator, role of mediator, the role of accounting and fundaraising.This type of research is field research (Field Research), namely by using qualitative research. Data collection techniques in this study are through observation, interviews, documentation, based on the data analysis that the author conducted on the results of research with BAZNAS Pelalawan Regency, it can be concluded from the role of the facilitator BAZNAS Pelalawan Regency provides facilities in the form of business capital, submissions, and completes the requirements From the results of the role of the mediator BAZNAS Pelalawan Regency is known to complete agreements together, hold regular coaching once a month, and conduct home surveys mustahiq or MSME recipients. From the results of the role of accounting and fundaraising, the accounting of BAZNAS in Pelalawan Regency recaps the amount of mustahiq data so that it is easy to distribute zakat funds every year. The suggestion is that the Pelalawan Regency BAZNAS will continue to maintain the program that is being run, even better. Aims to achieve the development of mustahiq / MSME actors who have been helped.
