Abstract
This study aims to determine the characteristics of farmers and farm profiles, technical application of lowland rice cultivation with a system planting jajar legowo, analyzing the factors that affect production, analyzing lowland rice farming with jajar legowo planting system and level Efficiency of lowland rice production with the jajar legowo planting system in Gunung District Toar of Kuantan Singingi Regency. The method used in this study is a survey method conducted from March to October 2020. Data analysis using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis with the production function of cobb-douglass Sampling is carried out manually Simple Random Sampling with the number of respondents 40 rice farmers who It is located in Gunung Toar District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. Research result shows that the average age of rice farmers in the jajar legowo planting system productive age ranged from 41-48 years, average level of education 12 years, average farming experience 16-30 years, land ownership status 28 people own, and 12 leased land status. Application cultivation techniques in lowland rice farming with the row legowo planting system in Gunung Toar District, Kuantan Singingi Regency is approaching conformity with the recommended cultivation techniques. Lowland rice production costs The jajar legowo planting system in Gunung Toar District is Rp.24,169,874/ha/MT, with a total revenue of 38,675,348/ha/MT, then obtained a net income of Rp.4,505.474 /ha/MT with RCR of 1,962. Factors that have a significant effect on rice production jajar legowo planting system, namely land area and pesticides, while seeds, organic fertilizer, inorganic fertilizer and labor did not have a significant effect. Rice farmers with the jajar legowo planting system in Gunung Toar District Kuantan Singingi Regency which has been economically efficient is 8 percent, with an efficiency value ranging from 0.455 – 1,000 with an efficiency value of an average of 0.741.
