Abstract

ABSTRACT The position of Civil Servants in government organizations has a very important role because Civil Servants are the backbone of the government in carrying out national development, to be able to realize the implementation of government and development tasks, it is demanded that Civil Servants who are professional, responsible, honest, and fair through guidance. which is carried out based on the work performance system and career system, in carrying out the career development of Civil Servants, Civil Servants who have good performance can be promoted to a higher level promotion which can also be used as motivation in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as Civil Servants. In the thesis entitled "Analysis of the Assessment of Work Objectives of Attorney Offices at the Riau High Prosecutor's Office (Case Study of Regular Promotions)" issues are discussed, namely: the implementation of regular promotions of Civil Servants at the Riau High Prosecutor's Office and obstacles in implementing regular promotions of Civil Servants. at the Riau High Prosecutor's Office. The method used to answer the aforementioned problems is by means of Observational Research (sociological research) through surveying in order to obtain primary data by means of interviews and questionnaires. After all the primary data and secondary data that the author has obtained and the authors have collected, the writer will classify the data based on the types of the two essential problems to be studied. Then the authors draw conclusions with the deductive method, namely by taking from things that are specific to things that are general in nature. The results show that in the implementation of the promotion of Civil Servants within the Riau High Prosecutor's Office, Pekanbaru City has been carried out in accordance with the Republic of Indonesia Prosecutor's Regulation Number 1 of 2020 concerning Guidelines for Promoting the Rank of Civil Servants in the Republic of Indonesia Attorney General's Office where promotion is given as long as Civil Servants The upgraded civilians have good performance as stated in the SKP requirements, besides that the SKP assessment also affects the implementation of promotion, a factor that becomes an obstacle in the promotion of the rank of Civil Servants at the Riau High Prosecutor's Office in Pekanbaru City, based on the results of the research is the performance of related employees. with the results of the SKP appraisal, administrative procedures or administrative services provided by the Personnel section as well as the policies of superiors or leaders as SKP appraisal officials and who provide recommendations to employees can be promoted in the ranks in 2020.
