Abstract

The use of diesel motors is widely used as a driving machine, both for vehicles, heavy equipment and power plants. On Diesel motorcycles , b Dexlite fuel has a very important role. Besides that, k ounce of need vehicle be rmotor with engine performance yes ng optimal and fuel-efficient, with the addition of additives to the diesel motor fuel will increase the value cetana so the prospect of consumer demand for additive bush in menin gkat in line with an increasing population. In this study, the addition of additives varies mixed into the fuel Cetane 51 for performance work of the Isuzu TLD 54 Diesel motor. This study aims to analyze the effect addition of z at adi tif on fuel cetane 51 on performance on motor D iesel Isuzu TLD 54 . The test results obtained by torsion value height occurs at the addition of 0.10 gram additive which is 162.86 Nm, the highest power value is 34.09 kW, nil ai average effective pressure - the highest average is 120.96 kPa and the highest thermal efficiency i also occurs in the addition of 0.10 grams additives that is equal to 91.7%. Meanwhile fuel consumption occurs unan highest addition of 0.10 grams z at additives which is 3.2 kg / hour.
