Abstract

ABSTRACT Hardianti Wijaya, 2021. Thesis. The Effect of Using Image Media Against Learning to Write Procedure Texts at SMAN 3 Bangko Pusako. FKIP UIR This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in the material writing procedure texts at SMAN 3 Bangko Pusako, this study aims to find out whether there is an effect of using image media on learning to write procedural texts at SMAN 3 Bangko Pusako and has a big impact the use of image media on learning to write procedure text at SMAN 3 Bangko Pusako. This research method uses simple linear regression. The population of this research is all students of class XI SMAN 3 Bangko Pusako. Sampling using a purposive sample technique as for the number of the sample in this study amounted to 72 students. Data collection technique which is done by using questionnaires and documentation techniques. As for the research results This shows the effect of using image media on learning writing procedure text at SMAN 3 Bangko Pusako. this can be seen from the test the hypothesis which states that the significance value is < 0.005 then the hypothesis in this research is accepted. As for the large influence of the use of image media on the learning to write procedure text is 0.757 or 75.7% (strong). Then it can be concluded that the results of this study are that there is a strong influence between the use of image media on learning to write procedure text at SMAN 3 Bangko Pusako.
