Abstract

Along with the development of internet access technology has reached a stage that makes it easier to use by utilizing wireless network access media or called wireless, wireless computer networks are a technology that is often used in various agencies, companies, cafes, shops, and others. Wireless networks are not only used in institutions, but some households also use them. The problem that needs to be considered in wireless networks is security. If the security of the wireless network has loopholes, it will be easy for irresponsible people to exploit the gap. This can be detrimental for Agencies that have the wireless network. One of them is the Bengkalis Regency Food Security Office which is an agency located in Bengkalis. At this time the Bengkalis Regency Food Security Office has used wireless network services. However, the problem that occurs at the Bengkalis Regency Food Security Office at this time is that if users want to access the internet, they must login first and can still open sites that are not justified. This happens because the wireless network is located at the Bengkalis Regency Food Security Office using proxy security. Because it is necessary to implement a wireless security system with Radius MAC Authentication so that users do not need to re-login when moving in one area. With this network security is expected to facilitate wireless network users. This research resulted in a network security system that has been configured with MikroTik. From several wireless security tests carried out, the wireless network can only be used by registered users and if the user moves, the user does not need to re-login.
