Abstract
This research discusses the role of Bapas in implementing diversion in traffic cases by children. This study aims to determine what are the roles of Bapas in implementing diversion in traffic cases by children. While the method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach by conducting interviews with key informants and informants. Based on the results of interviews with related parties, the role of Bapas in implementing diversion is to remove negative stigma from society. Through a long process, and the obstacles that were found, the Bapas' role was so big in the implementation of diversion. This diversion is considered to have been effective in its implementation. Guided by the law, Bapas stands in carrying out its duties to diversify children who comply with the conditions.
