Abstract
This study discusses the efforts of the Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja of Indragiri Hulu Regency in preventing juvenile delinquency cases, namely illegal racing. This study aims to determine how the Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja of Indragiri Hulu Regency in preventing illegal racing. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach by conducting interviews with the Key Informants and Informants in this study. The results of this study indicate that the efforts of Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja in preventing illegal racing can run as they should. From receiving public complaints, going to the field, case management, and outreach to schools at the junior and senior high school levels in West Rengat District. However, the prevention of illegal racing by the Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja of Indragiri Hulu Regency is still ineffective and needs awareness from the youth themselves.
