Abstract

Motivation is an encouragement to employees to be able to work harder and more honestly without any element of coercion from other parties to complete tasks for them, but it is driven by the desire of oneself. Motivation also affects a person's sense of commitment to the company or his place of work because this commitment can encourage an individual to be more responsible. In this study, which was conducted with the intention of knowing the magnitude of the influence given by work motivation on organizational commitment to employees. The benefits of this research are expected to provide input and consideration for the progress of the company with the aim of building commitment to working employees. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with the aim of knowing the effect of work motivation on employee organizational commitment at CV. Riau Jaya Abadi Pekanbaru Company. This study is a census because the population in the study amounted to 35 people or less than 100 people. Data collection techniques through questionnaires in the form of a Likert scale equipped with observations. The results of this study that there is a significant and strong influence between work motivation variables on organizational commitment variables in company employees CV. Riau Jaya Abadi Pekanbaru. These results were obtained through data processing using statistical analysis, namely simple linear regression and correlation coefficients which showed a very positive influence between work motivation and organizational commitment.
