Abstract

The problem of this research is the lack of cooperation from the the Bappeda and PT.IKPP in providing information on program information provided to the public. This study aims to find out how the implementation of Good Governance in the Corporate Sosial responsibility (CSR) program by the Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Daerah (Bappeda) and to find out the inhibiting factors of the implementation of Good Governance in the Corporate Sosial Responsibility (CSR) program by the Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Daerah (Bappeda). While the research method used in this study is a qualitative method with purposive sampling technique. From the research results it can be seen that the implementation of Good Governance in the Corporate Sosial Responsibility (CSR) Program is not running optimally in Siak Regency because it is not appropriate between the implementation in the field and the principles used in Good Governance, namely participation, transparency, accountability, and rule of law. It was concluded that Good Governance in the CSR programs was not running optimally due to a number of things such as lack of communication from Bappeda and PT.IKPP in terms of providing reports on planned programs even those that had been realized, less optimal socialization activities provided to the community. And from this research can provide advice to PT.IKPP to further maximize the role in providing socialization to the community and provide reports to Bappeda, Bappeda must also further enhances its duties in overseeing the implementation of CSR, and also to the community, companies and government must further increase understanding of applicable regulations regarding CSR.
