Abstract

BIODIVERSITY OF LOCAL VEGETABLES IN THE VILLAGE OF BELANTARAYA INDRAGIRI HILIR DISTRICT AS A MODULE OF BIOLOGY TEACHING MATERIALS FOR CLASS X SMA SILVIA AGUSTINA 166510241 Thesis Biology Education Study Program, Teacher Training and Education Faculty Riau Islamic University Advisor: Dr. Elfis M.Si ABSTRACT This study aims to produce a module of teaching materials for local vegetable biodiversity in Belantaraya Village, Indragiri Hilir Regency for biology class X SMA subjects. This research is a type of research development (Research and Development) with the development of the ADDIE method. The subjects of this study were the people of Belantaraya Village, Indragiri Hilir Regency and the subjects of the teaching materials were students of class X SMAN 1 Tembilahan Hulu, SMAN 1 Tembilahan, and SMAN 2 Tembilahan. Research data were obtained from validation sheets that were assessed by learning experts, material experts, and biology teachers, as well as response questionnaires obtained from limited test results from students. The results of this study indicate that the quality of the validity of the teaching material module based on the results of validation by learning experts is included in the category with an average percentage of 81.4% (quite valid), the results of the validation of material experts with an average percentage of 86.11% (very valid) , and the results of the validation by three biology teachers got a percentage of 89.23% (very valid), and the results of trials on students got an average percentage of 95.25% (very good). Based on these categories, it can be concluded that the learning media developed are very valid and can be used as biology teaching materials that can help the learning process of students.
