Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of the studio at the Puti Lindung Bulan Studio in Kuok District, Kampar Regency, Riau. To discuss the problem of how the management of the studio at the Puti Lindung Bulan Studio, this study used Henri Fayol's management theory (2002:22) and it is concluded that good management is needed. This study used descriptive analysis method using qualitative data. Primary data, based on observations and interviews. Secondary data is obtained from references and thesis. The informants in this study were the owner of the studio, concurrently the trainer as well as the dance leader at the Puti Lindung Bulan Studio, the Dance Section and members of the studio fostered. Schedule of dance materials every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The results of this study are that the management of the Puti Lindung Bulan Studio has been going well, it can be seen from the functioning of the Planning, Organizing, Directing, Coordination, Controlling and Reporting activities that have also gone well, such as the participation of the Puti Lindung Bulan Studio in the event. Events, and the existence of social activities. And the existence of this dance studio is enough to influence the development of arts in Riau, especially Kampar.
