Abstract

This study aims to describe the tambourine music performance of the Al-Ikhlas group at a wedding in the village of Rantau Kasai, North Tambusai District, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The theory used is the theory of Suwandi Endaswara (2011:34-36) which is used as a reference in performances, both at school and outside school, as follows: (1) The object of the show, (2) Players, (3) Performances, (4) Property, (5) Clothing, (6) Performers' make-up, (7) Music, (8) Audience. This study uses descriptive qualitative data collection techniques to describe the actualization of the data. The results of this study are the Al-Ikhlas group's tambourine music performance at a wedding is the object of the show something that will be displayed, namely tambourine music at a wedding, a player who presents a performance by playing a musical instrument with Islamic songs, performances that complement the show such as a stage so that the audience can watch performances, property of complementary performance tools, namely tambourine musical instruments, clothing, and accessories, clothing for the performers, such as Muslim clothing, polite and unique, make-up makeup is quite simple and not overwhelming, wedding-themed music and Islamic songs, spectators appreciate in the show, namely the people who are in the rantau kasai village and the community can criticize and give suggestions to the players.
