Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between leg length and arm muscle explosive power on the ability to hit the smash of the volleyball game of the athlete Club Ambrasador, Pasir Emas Village, Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This type of research is multiple correlation. The population in this study were the players of Club Ambrasador, Pasir Emas Village, Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, which amounted to 18 players. The sampling technique in this study was total sampling, thus the number of samples was 18 people. From data processing with statistical calculations, the following results were obtained: 1) There was a contribution of arm muscle power to the volleyball smash results of Club Ambrasador Athletes of 25.7%. The results of the calculation of the correlation obtained rcount value of 0.502. From the table of r values, the rtable value is obtained at df = 16 with a significant level (α) of 0.05 = 0.497. This means that the value of rcount is 0.502 > rtable (0.497). 2) There is a contribution of leg length to the volleyball smash result of Club Ambrasador Athlete in Pasir Emas Village by 32.1%. The results of the calculation of the correlation obtained rcount value of 0.507. From the table of r values, the rtable value is obtained at df = 16 with a significant level (α) of 0.05 = 0.497. This means that the value of rcount is 0.507 > rtable (0.497). 3) There is a contribution of Arm Muscle Power and Leg Length together to the volleyball smash results of Club Ambrasador Athletes, Pasir Emas Village, Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency by 40.7%. The results of the calculation obtained that the double correlation coefficient rcount is 0.621. From the table, the value of r is obtained from the value of rtable at df = 16 with a significant level (α) of 0.05 = 0.497. This means that the value of rcount is 0.621 > rtable (0.497)
