Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of arm muscle power and eye-hand coordination to the service results of volleyball games at the Ganesa Kuntodarussalam club. This type of research is correlational research. The population in this study were athletes of the Ganesha Volleyball Club, totaling 12 people. The sampling technique was total sampling, thus the number of samples was 12 people. The sampling technique used was total sampling. The instrument used is a medicine overhead ball throwing test, throwing and catching tennis balls and a volleyball service test. The data analysis technique is product moment correlation and multiple correlation. The conclusions of this study are: 1) There is a contribution of arm muscle power to the service results on volleyball Athletes of the Ganesa Kuntodarussalam Club with a percentage of 42.9%. The results of the calculation of the correlation obtained rcount value of 0.655 > r table = 0.576. 2) There is a contribution of eye-hand coordination to the results of the service on volleyball Athletes of the Ganesa Kuntodarussalam Club with a percentage of 35%. The calculated r value is 0.592> r table = 0.576. 3) There is a contribution of arm muscle power and eye-hand coordination to the results of the service on volleyball Athletes of the Ganesa Kuntodarussalam Club with a percentage of 51.21%. The calculation results obtained that the multiple correlation coefficient rcount is 0.716 > r table = 0.576.
