Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between arm muscle power and hand eye coordination on long serve accuracy in badminton games in PB Bank Riau Kepri Pekanbaru athletes aged 13-15 years. This type of research is correlational research. The population of this study were athletes from PB Bank Riau Kepri Pekanbaru aged 13-15 years as many as 12 athletes. The sampling technique was total sampling and the number of samples was 12 people. The instruments used were the Two-Hand Medicine ball put test, the tennis ball throw and catch test and the badminton long serve test. The conclusions of this study are 1) There is a significant relationship between arm muscle power and long service results in badminton games for PB Bank Riau Kepri Pekanbaru athletes aged 13-15 years. The percentage of the relationship is 34.6%. 2) There is a significant relationship between eye and hand coordination with the long service results of badminton games for PB Bank Riau Kepri Pekanbaru athletes aged 13-15 years. The percentage of the relationship is 41.5%. 3) There is a significant relationship between arm muscle power and eye and hand coordination with the long service results of badminton games for PB Bank Riau Kepri Pekanbaru athletes aged 13-15 years. The percentage of the relationship is 61.37%.
